When i apply a smart filter to my search results which is set to 10 records per page, when i go to the next page of results my search filter is cleared, i would like to think there is amechanism for maintaining the search filter value as the user looks at the pages of filtered results
I assume you use Portal engine with default Kentico Web Parts?
In the Smart Search Results Web Part set the "Paging mode" to "QueryString"
and I believe you also need the
"Search on each page load"-checkbox checked
Hi David , i turned of auto posting , set to query string and placed a search filter button on my page. all works fine now. as i am sure you were suggesting the filter value is maintained in the query string. Thank you
