Missing UI Templates

Clean installed v8 as a web application with source code. Built custom modules and trying to reuse existing UI templates in module interface. Can't see any. Have read the extract from the documentation that suggests applying latest hotfix.

Applied latest hotfix (8.0.20) and got errors from CMS.Base.Threads.ThreadDebug class (to name a few) because hotfix only supplied CMS*.ascx and CMS*ascx.cs files. It didnt update the core platform projects with the updates in the updated DLL files, which had the new methods, but would be overwritten when a compile in either CMSApp or CMSApp_AppCode projects.

How do we resolve this as our ability to upgrade our website from v5.5R2 to v8 (without going down the upgrade path as we are looking at building our website from scratch) and the issues we are facing are to do with bugs in v8 itself that are supposed to be fixed in the hotfixes?

Hello

With reference to my previous post, I meant that the new dlls copied into Lib folder are not copied across into the bin folder. What is in the bin folder comes from the core projects, which are not updated in the hotfix.

Let also say the the way l have applied the hotfix is to do it locally as access to our remote installation is limited.
