We are currently using the Corporate site theme and have modify the master template. In doing so we removed the log off button. We have tried to get it to display with no luck. We would rather the users use the log off button rather than closing the browser. We are currently using 8.2.

You can add the sign out button web part to the master page to display the log off as a link or button. It is located under the membership web parts.
