Is it possible to set a page as the default starting page, for instance the homepage or contact page? I did find something about the site alias, but selecting the homepage here doesn't seem to have any effect. When browsing to my local development environment, there is a blank page displayed. If I enter /homepage.aspx, the homepage is displayed.
What I'm trying to achieve is when browsing to localhost/projectname/ the homepage is displayed.

Are you setting the "Default alias path" under "Web site content" section (Settings > Content)?
