How to disable contact management?

When I click a link from a dynamic newsletter I get this message "Feature 'ContactManagement' is not available in the Kentico edition you are using. See event log for more details." How do I disable "ContactManagement"?

Hi,

It means your licence doesn't have this feature available. It's part of Kentico EMS and may be you are using Kentico CMS.

I got that but when we send a dynamic email newsletter the links are changed by kentico and this could be because of email tracking? When a link in that email is clicked we get the above error message. Any way to tell kentico do not track emails and to not change the emails in the dynamic newsletter?

Hi,

this issue has been fixed in hotfix 9.0.2.

However, if you don't want to / cant hotfix, you can disable the tracking in 'Email marketing » Email campaigns » your email campaign » Configuration' by unchecking the following checkboxes: 'Track opened emails' and 'Track clicked links'. That way your links won't require Contact management and won't be changed.

We have recently upgraded from 7 to latest 9. We are receiving this error also, in the event log, when a users logs into one of our sites (not into the cmsdesk or sitemanager). Regarding newsletters, we use those and currently track opens and link clicks (as this was a feature of 7). Am I to understand this is not available in 9 now and that we would need to upgrade to the EMS?
