how to add product search engine in homepage

Hi, guys

I try to add smart search webpart in homepage, but when I enter the product name, it could not find anything, so what is wrong here? how can I solve it?

Hi,

when you add search box webpart you need to enter Search Result URL. On Search Result URL you need to place Smart Search search webpart.

So when you enter something in search that will redirect to search results page. That page with smart search webpart will pick up query string and display results.

Please note that you need to create smart search index and test it before linking it to web part.
