error after changing site url

I've changed my prsentation url and now get this error

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
CMS.Membership.Internal.VirtualContextAuthenticationConfiguration.get_Audience()

I've added the new license key and everything... oddly the site still works at localhost...

I hope someone finds my incessant questioning helpful. :P I restarted the app in IIS and the recycled the app pool and that seemed to fix it.
