"Edit in new window" option for form control

Hello everybody,

I am developing a webpart. I have a property, type long text. I chose "text area" for the form control. I want the Page template developer to be able to use the "Edit in new window" option, like for predefined fields, e.g. "Container custom content". But couldn't find the setting. Anybody know how to set this?

Hi Tobias,

Just change your field data type from "Text Area" to "Long Text Area", you will see the "Edit in New Window" option while editing the web part.
