Distributing email after user account approval

toru sato asked on June 25, 2020 04:16

I operate so that the user account is valid after the administrator approves it. https://docs.kentico.com/k11/managing-users/user-registration-and-authentication/configuring-forms-authentication/new-user-registration-approval-and-email-confirmation

I think that an email will be sent according to the "Membership-Registration approved" template when the administrator approves it, but I would like to distribute the email template according to the page of the registration source. /register-Users registered on the A page send A's email Users registered on the /register-B page send B emails.

Does anyone have a good idea to do this? If you know, please help me.

Toru,

From your question, do you have multiple page registration sources? Did you try using email templates and macros in it for this? Whenever you use a macro then the value will be dynamic, so this should serve your purpose.

Yes. I have multiple registration pages and the roles assigned to them vary.

If I'm sending an email when registering, I think you can do it by customizing the Registration Web Part.

However, this time it will be difficult because it is an email when the administrator approves.

I noticed now.

Email templates can use if statements to control what is sent by macros, right?

I feel like I can solve it.
