Creating new sites from templates

Hi, I have bought a template from one of those sites and I want to use that template in my Kentico project. I tried to install using "Import site or objects" wizard. So I uploaded the zip file package. When I press next I get this error message

"Error during temporary files creation. Original exception: [ImportProvider.CreateTemporaryFiles]: Data not found or the package is not a valid export package. (D:\Live Websites\BAMBCampaign_2020\CMS\App_Data\CMSTemp\ImportExport\Data)"

Is there any other way I can install this template?

You can't import a Wordpress template into Kentico, they are different systems.

Not sure if allowed, but only a developer could try to rebuild it in Kentico.

I suggest you contact the provider of that template! It seems it's not a valid Kentico package.

What is the inner structure of the zip file?

Hi David, this is not a Kentico template. This is a wordpress template. When I unzip the file I can see folders such as CSS, fonts,images,js,plugins and HTML files

Thank you David. Is there any documentation that you can suggest for me to go through? I have checked online but all I can find is using Kentico template only.

To build a site in Kentico? I'd start at docs.kentico.com/k12sp.

Since you tried importing I assume you have a running site already?
