Can Customers Purchase and Send Gift Cards in Kentico 12

Dear Support,

I was reading about the Gift Cards functionality here. I'm thinking of gift cards that customers can purchase and send as a gift to a friend. The friend then has the gift card code to redeem on the e-commerce website.

Is this possible out-of-the-box with Kentico 12? I really hope so, because it seems like a great use-case for this feature.

The link you provided is the Documentation for Kentico 12, and it states "Kentico does not provide a built-in way to directly sell gift cards as products."
