Archive Ability for CMS Edtor

I need to provide the ability for the "CMS Edtior" role to archive pages only under a certain page tree folder.

I have created an advanced workflow assigned to the specific folder, and tried as per the suggestion here but couldn't get it to work: https://devnet.kentico.com/questions/archive-ability-for-cms-edtor

any suggestions would be great

Hi, few questions:

So is the step not working? Does the specific user not able to do it? Can you as an Administrator do it when you create the step? Is the creation of the whole MA flow not working? Does the page have the actual MA flow attached?

this is the workflow.

As an admin I can do all the steps in the workflow Create - Publish - Archive.

However a person who is asssinged the role of "CMS Editor" can only create and publish. They are not presented with the "Archive" option.

The Q&A in the link your are referring to talks about

"specify a custom step between Publish and Archive steps and set the role to be moderator of this custom step only."

I don't see that in your screenshot. Could you add that and assign the editor role to it...

I tried adding a custom step as described in the link but it didn't work . All it did was present a request to archive option, but not actually archive.
