Adding a new 'Menu Group'

I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious but how do I add a new Menu Group item? The default list is 'Top menu, Footer menu, Left menu' but I'd like to extend this with another option.

You can add a new group in CMS.MenuItem page type: Image Text

This is part of the Page type itself and can be edited in the fields section of the Page types module.
