Add Item to custom class table

Ben Janssen asked on June 13, 2017 17:39

I created a custom class under a custom module. When adding a new item to the table as a NON admin, I get a permission denied alert. I believe I have all the permissions I need set up. Anything I could be missing.

I can add to the table when logged in as an Admin

Hi Ben,

Its seems your custom module not having proper read write permission to add new item in table please cross check with permission. https://docs.kentico.com/k8/managing-users/configuring-permy to helissions

It seems like your non-admin users don't have write permission on custom tables. Can you verify this?

You can provide access based on Roles from here - Permissions on Custom Tables

Still nothing. I have a user set to 'none' for the privilege level. I have the user assigned to role "Driver"

The role Driver has Read, Modify, Create, Delete permissions on the "Module > Custom tables" under the current site.

The role Driver has Read, Modify, Create permissions on my "Module > [Custom Module]"

Thanks
