Add a custom menu item in CSS List Menu web part

Scott Lassiter asked on January 27, 2016 22:17

I am trying to create a link from an existing drop down CSS List Menu web part. I attempted adding a "Link an Existing Page" item, however it seems to be creating a duplicate page of sorts. I understand that is it just taking the existing page and adding an alias of sorts.

Other than hacking with JavaScript how can I add this menu without it being forces to have another path level of /somepage and an additional breadcrum.

Also trying to not have to re-create the CSS Link Menu with a custom web part.

Create new page in your CMS Tree in appropriate location, so it will show up in your menu. Next go to Page -> Properties -> Navigation and setup either redirect to URL or some javascript for the node.

Sometimes it is so easy it is staring it in your face. Thanks, for the quick answer. I will also add a no follow to my robots.txt so Google does not follow this link page.
