Meeting Room Scheduler

Hello,

I am using CMS 6.0.58(SP1) and wondering is there any way I can create online Meeting room scheduler? Basically I have several meeting room and vacant space that I can utilize by renting them out on the request based. Users can fill out the online form and we receives form data via an email and we can go in the calender and book that time slot and send confirmation to the user. Any idea/thoughts?

I am using this functionality for specific events but what I am looking for is functionality where there is no specific date is available as it's depend on the user's selection where user can select the date and time and it will show up in the calender rather than entering at the cmsdesk level. Am I missing something from the Booking System?

The Web part can be configured to allow creation of only the Event document type and it can specify if users allowed to only create, or edit, delete, etc. Would that work in this case?
