File doesn't exist

Running 5.5. In Site Manager under development/page templates. When I click on, say, home pages, click new template, assign everything and then click select to select the aspx page, new window open, I navigate to cmstemplates, corpsite and within that are 20 or so templates. If I click on any of them and then hit select I get "file doesn't exit". But it really does :-)

Running full trust. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I just had the same problem. I was using the Kentico CMS 5.5 Developers Guide to developing web parts, and attempting to do the sample "hello world" tutorial. I browsed for the file name, found it in my custom web parts directory, then clicked "Select" and received the "file doesn't exist" error.

The path it listed was ~CMSWebParts/MyCustomWebParts/hw.ascx

I was able to move through this dialogue box by changing the path to:
~/CMSWebParts/xxx/hw.ascx. I clicked ok, then was able to see my new web part in the tree. However, I'm not sure if this is really a correct fix or not.

Hi,

Rregrettably, this is known bug in Kentico CMS and it was fixed in Kentico CMS 5.5.1 hotfix package:

File system selector - Selected file path was invalid if the web site was installed into root.

Please apply latest hotfix package for Kentico CMS 5.5 to resolve this issue:
