Hi,

Unfortunately, I do not know, if you use a Portal engine or ASPX templates.

In case of Portal engine you could not create a new mater page, only edit the current one. Please see here for more information about editing a master page in Portal engine: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/editing_the_master_page.htm

In case of ASPX templates please see here for nice instructions about creating a new master page:

thank you for helping me
i tried ti add a webpart zone and webpart to my new template using custom layout to add a page place hoder on it so i copy this code within my layout

but after that the pag displayed and there is a text says (false true true) exists on it and on the status bar i can see the messaye (Error on page)

Hi,

Could you please go through this document - http://www.kentico.com/docs/devguide/page_layouts.htm

Here you can see how to add the web part zone. I assume that you have added all the code as mentioned before - also with the web part configuration. This code is ONLY used in the page templates configuration and ONLY in emergency when you are not able to access the design tab to add or remove the web part definition that may caused the issue.

Hi,

You can find all important information here - http://www.kentico.com/docs/devguide/newsletter_module_overview.htm.

Moreover, if you do not know what value should be added to some of the fields or what for those fields are, you can use the green question mark placed usualy in the upper right corner of the current page frame. There you can find the description of the currently displayed fields.
