Changed Site CSS with no effect
I cloned a default CSS and started customizing it, but quickly noticed that my edits didn't have any effect. It turned out that the site was still referencing the default template even though I changed the settings in Site Settings. The new CSS is assigned to the site.

Misc information:
Version 7 hotfix 2
Ecommerce Template
Default Content culture: Swedish(English removed after content reassigned to Swedish)
Visitor culture: Swedish-Sweden.

Other than this, no changes.

Hello.

Can you see your changes at least in the Preview mode? Could you please try to delete application's and browser's cache and see if it makes any difference? Thank you.

RE:Changed Site CSS with no effect
Hi. I restarted IIS, flushed Chromes cache, deleted all Temporary ASP with no effect.

I recorded the steps on a new site, so you can see if I do something wrong.
I made a unlisted youtube video Hammars CSS Problem

RE:Changed Site CSS with no effect
Hello.

I see now what you mean.

Well, I understand this behavior is confusing; however, it is by design. What is going on is this.

The preview you can see on the right side does not belong to cloned stylesheet’s code, but the one currently assigned to given document, e.g. Home page. You may know that you can assign a stylesheet to some web site globally, or even to particular document in the CMSDesk / Content / Properties / General tab, using the “CSS stylesheet” selector.

This whole confusion is caused by assumption that the preview on the right is connected to code on the left. However, it is not. It simply load existing document per its alias path.

RE:Changed Site CSS with no effect
Ok. I get it now. I guess my documents have always been defined as using the "default" stylesheet, thereby using the stylesheet selected in "Sitemanager -> Sites -> MySite -> General -> Site CSS..."

Thanks for pointing this out. Great support as always from you guys.
