Restrict File Uploads in Content Tree
We recently had 2 users upload files directly into the content tree, rather than selecting the Media Library.

Is there a way to restrict users from doing this and force them to use the Media Library?

Hello,

You could change the Upload extensions value via Site Manager -> Settings -> [your site] -> System -> Files -> Upload extensions and only allow certain file types to be uploaded, which would prevent a user from uploading say a jpeg image if you removed this value. The other option would be to use document level permissions to restrict the user from accessing a section of the content tree, or creating a certain document type - http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/document_permissions.htm
