Eliminating duplicate content
I noticed im getting duplicate content from the use of a booking form.

Every time somebody generates a booking form it adds

booking-enquiry/?items=11266
booking-enquiry/?items=11271

Would I be best excluding booking-enquiry/ in my robots.txt file or using a canonical URL on the base URL.

Im thinking the robots or htaccess would be best but second opinion is much appreciated

RE:Eliminating duplicate content
Hi,
Each time someone has a booking enquiry the URL's are dynamically created.
The page itself has a link back to the product then generic text such as :

"We stock a comprehensive range of safety equipment. etc"

As this is created each time google is indexing the URL and seeing it as duplicate content.

Hi,

So yes, in this case it is only up to robot.txt file. I would recommend you to read the article: how to build up the robot.txt file (written by google).
