We were able to resolve this request via email. Here is the solution should anyone else need it:


You can create a custom field which only shows up when Represents: Membership is selected like his:

Add new field to this section, leaving Display attribute in the editing form unset:

CMS Site Manager -> Development -> System tables -> Ecommerce - SKU -> Fields -> Representing

Afterwards, go to this alternative form and check Display attribute in the editing form for the field you have just created:

CMS Site Manager -> Development -> System tables -> Ecommerce - SKU -> Alternative forms -> Update membership

The field should now show up depending on whether Represents: Membership is selected or not.
