Cannot modufy website in visual studio - free version.
I've installed the free version of Kentico on my home computer so I could play around with it on the weekends. However, I cannot add or modify any of the files in Visual Studio. Every time I try, it tells me that access is denied.

When I add files outside of VS, it works just fine, though. Is this a problem with my security settings on my windows account, or is this a problem with VS? Or, is modifying the website in VS not something you can do in the free version of Kentico?

Hello.

This is not related to edition of your Kentico CMS. So, it is not related to Free edition neither.

Visual studio works with physical files within your file system and your Windows account needs to have enough permission. Does it help when you run your Visual studio explicitly as an administrator?

Best Regards,
