Kentico 7 and Azure SDK 1.8 Emulator

I am in the process of evaluating the solution for use in Azure and I am running into an issue with the latest version of Kentico and the Azure SDK. The web installer works fine but when I open the solution it requests me to upgrade the solution to use the latest Azure SDK that I have installed or download the previous version. I have tried both options but in neither case can I get the site to run in the emulator, it just hangs. I am running this in VS 2012, on a Windows 8, 64gb laptop with 8 gb of ram. IIS is installed, I am running SQL 2012 as well. Any assistance or ideas on how we can get this to work would be great.

Hi,

I have just tried it myself and upgrading the solution works for me.

have you tried running the solution in debug mode and see what happens?

Please follow the Azure Deployment Guide (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/azureguide/index.html)

Also, have you tried running the Storage and Compute emulators before you started the web?

Do you have all necessary tools installed as described within the Azure Deployment Guide?
