Production environment planning questions
A few questions surrounding production environment.

We're considering Rackspace as a host for our site, not sure which Rackspace product would be suitable for us (dedicated, cloud, hybrid)? Does anyone have comments regarding either of these hosting solutions? Will Kentico run on any of these solutions?

If we go with a dedicated solution can we have everything installed on one server (Kentico CMS, sql server, etc.)? And does Kentico support this model?

Hello,

Of course, you can run Kentico CMS in a cloud environment. Our clients already use Kentico CMS in Windows Azure, Amazon EC2 and Rackspace Cloud.

We also offer Kentico+ which is Kentico EMS running as a service in the Windows Azure cloud for a monthly fee.

Or you can try to contact one of Kentico Hosting Partners, e.g.: NetConstruct who are already building their solutions on the RackSpace.

And for sure, you can have everything installed just on one server.

Hi,

We use Rackspace for hosting Kentico sites without a problem.
We haved used their cloud server to create a Windows 2008 Server.

The service is really good and lots of support from their live chat facility.
