'Error loading the layout' in deployment

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to deploy the E-Commerce web site and keep getting an error saying: '[Error loading the layout] The file '/CMSVirtualFiles/Templates/Shared/=vg=3b8f6e1f-31f4-4394-ae2a-20e3d298b30f/EcommerceSite/EcommerceSite.MasterPage.ascx' does not exist.'

I followed the steps as mentioned here: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/index.html?deployment_to_the_live_server.htm .
I renamed the Microsoft.Web.Services3.dll.rename file to Microsoft.Web.Services3.dll, I saved all the virtual objects via the Site Manager, then built my website and published it after not allowing it to be updatable. The db is the same as the one i used, so no backup/restore was needed.

Regrettably, there was a bug in the deployment in v7 but it should have been already fixed. Could you please download and apply the latest hotfix? Best regards, Juraj Ondrus

Hello,

I'm still having problems with the deployment. I am indeed using v7. I converted my Web Site to a Web Application, then applied the 7.0.26 hotfix and i' m now having an error when displaying web parts, saying:

[Error loading the WebPart 'wLF' of type 'logonform']
The file '/CMSWebParts/Membership/Logon/logonform.ascx.cs' does not exist.

Hello,

What happens if you used the alternative approach and deploy the full files and DB backups?
Does the file exist in your web project?
Have you tried to turn the deployment off on the target server once the deployment is finished?

If the above won't help, could you please describe in details the exact steps made so I can try reproducing the issue on my end?

The exact steps followed are: I run the kentico installation wizard and set it as web application, I apply the latest hotfix, I run the application in visual studio and publish it, I put the published folder in IIS, I restore the db. I'm still getting those errors
