There may be some 3rd party tools which can be used to notify you if e-mails get stuck in the queue but they are not officially supported.
As for the issue itself, are there any additional details mentioned for the messages which were failed to be sent? Although as you say there are no errors or warnings in Event log, could you check suggestions described in the following Knowledge Base article -

There is also an e-mail debug available which can help you resolve problems with newsletter, notification and other e-mails sent by Kentico CMS. Please refer to
