Using Version 7 of the CMSdesk, my client wants to be able to create a blog post and have it go into just the blog document type. What's currently happening is when they go to click on New, create the blog post, and then save, it automatically creates a blog month document.

Is there a setting that I can use to turn this ability off? Keep in mind that we are going to be putting this site into the SAAS soon. Would it be better to create a different doctype that inherits the fields from the CMS.BlogPost doctype?
