The default.aspx page ALWAYS changes the user's chosen language back to en-US
Hi,
We have a multi-cultural website - en-US (default) and es-ES. We are using the standard Kentico language dropdown to allow users to choose their culture manually. Usually when a user chooses Spanish, their choice will persist from page to page. EXCEPT when they visit either the / or /default.aspx Urls - then they are always forced back to the en-US culture.

Is there some sort of config setting that I'm missing? Or hack I need to do?

Hello,

I was not able to reproduce the issue on Kentico CMS 6 with no hotfixes. I assume you are using this version based on your previous thread, can you confirm that? The content of the website stayed the same according to the chosen language even after rewriting URL to / or /default.aspx. Have you tried it in a different browser? Could you send me the link to your website to review your issue?
