"Remember original URLs when moving documents" has no effect
A document alias is created when I move a document regardless of whether the "Remember original URLs when moving documents" checkbox is checked.

Am I misunderstanding the purpose of this option?

Hello,

Could you please check, if you don't change the global setting instead of the site setting:

User image
(right-click -> display picture/image to see it in high resolution)
