Uploading Several Images or Documents at once
It would be very helpful to be able to upload more than one image or document at a time. I've just gotten started in CMS last week and had to upload 100's of photos, pdf's and other documents one at a time and this would've saved a lot of time.

Also, it would be really nice to be able to add a text box anywhere on your page. i.e. for photo captions. We have a lot of photos on our web pages and are having trouble adding captions to the photos. In fact, I can't figure out the best way to do it.

You can use the CMS File Import module which can be found within the Tools section of CMSDesk.

Hello,

to answer the second part of your question: you can customize the File document type with custom field, such as Description. You can do that in Development -> Document templates (1.x) or Site Manager -> Development -> Document types (2.x).
