Hi,

How do you set up the cms so that in a content tree a user will only see the documents that they have added and only be able to edit these?

Hi,

you can use option Check document permissions in the Site Manager - Settings - Content - Content Managaement.

It checks document level permissions and read permission. You can assign user to the particular role. Then he will be able only create particular document types in a particular section.
