Merge 2 Linked Documents

Is there a way to merge one linked document into another? I have a number of documents that were created twice because of misspellings, and some nodes link to the correct one while others link to the misspelled one. I'd like to merge the misspelled one into the correct one. Is there a way to do that?

Example:

Source Documents
- Source Doc
- Sorce Doc

Links
- Link to Source Doc 1
- Link to Source Doc 2
- Link to Sorce Doc 3
- Link to Sorce Doc 4

The only way would be to update or recreate the linked document through the API. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Regards, Sandro
