Can not move a document in the tree via drag'n'drop
Hello!
I encountered a problem - when I move a document trough the document tree into another folder by dragging, I get the confirmation page:

Are you sure you want to move the selected document?

Target location: /

Yes No

Then, I click "Yes", and get the same confirmation with error:
Failed to move the document
Are you sure you want to move the selected document?

Target location: /

Yes No

and nothing happens. This error appeared in recent days. Does anybody have any ideas?

p.s. I found this page, it did not solve the problem.

Hello Vasiliy,

Could you please check if there are any error messages with more details in the Event log (CMSSiteManager -> Administration -> Event log)?

Best regards,
Martin Danko

RE:Can not move a document in the tree via drag'n'drop
Hello Martin, thank for your reply.
I tried to move a document through the list mode and got this message:

Failed to move the document : Message: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0123456789abcdef' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

So I copied System.Web.Mvc.dll to ~/App/bin folder and this solved the problem. Of course, the true way is to install MVC package, but by some reasons copying a separate dll is more applicable for me now.

Hi Vasiliy,

I have to say excellent job! Thank you for letting us know about the details and your solution, very smart. I understastand... just copying the DLL files is faster and easier... and I think that in many cases it's also enough.

Best regards,
