Regarding the ASPX template development
Hi all,

We have created site with portal engine, but now in the client asks us to create in ASPX , please guide me how to create website in ASPX, as I am new to ASP.NEt. What is the main difference between ASPX and portal engine..

This is very urgent,,

Hello.

As for differences between Portal engine and ASPX templates development models, please see this comparison. Please note ASPX development model requires some basic skills in ASP.NET / C#.

You can build ASPX templates-based web site following this ASPX tutorial. Thank you.

Hello.

Well, if you mean UI creation, not API, then no, there is no difference between it. You always create a new document in your content tree in CMSDesk / Content, clicking New button and selection some document properties and page template. However, there is a difference in creation of ASPX and Portal engine page template.
