How to add a banner in all pages..

Hi ,

Is it possible to add one banner in all pages, the pages are already created. Do I need to add the banner in all the pages seperatly , but If I will do that way then the banner will not update in all pages if I will update in one page, I don't want to add in master page..Is there any webpart available in which we can add the banner in one page and it will be added in all pages..

Hi,

The best way would be to add it to the master page. If you want to have it on all pages you have to options:
- add something to the master page (some web part which will display the banner or e.g. a repeater)
- add the web part to all page templates that are used on the site.

In the second option I would use repeater web part or similar approach. If you will use the repeater, you will set it to get the data e.g. from one location, one document. So, you will make the change only to this one document and all the repeaters will get this data from here, from the one location.
