Best way to create one to many or many to many documents

Hello,

Im looking for the best way to create one-to-many or many-to-many relationships with document types.

for instance I have a product document type, and a product_part type.

How could i make it to where users create a Product, they can just choose from a drop down, the product_part that goes into the product?

Hi,

One to many can be achieved by using document types and custom tables together in way one document (of given type) to the items in the custom table.

Many to many relationship is not recommended and also achieving this would require heavy customization - basically developing your own custom logic for handling everything.
