Inherited template issue
Hi,
I have search a lot on this but couldn't find anythings what would explain the following behaviour.
Using exactly the same template once inheriting from the parent and once selecting it directly produces in my case different results. In the first case namely I can't use hmtl editor which is in the second case perfectly available. The template spoken of in my case inherits only master page (Level 0).
Somehow it would be cool just inherit the template from the parent without having to select it for every child page item.
What could be the reason of such behaviour?

RE:Inherited template issue
When you say HTML editor do you mean that you have EditableText webparts on the page? If so, check to see if the property "Hide on Subpages" of that webpart is checked.
That would explain exactly what you are describing.

RE:Inherited template issue
Hello,
Exactly, you have probably set the
Hide on Subpages
property of the
Editable text
web part to
true
.
Best regards,
Jan Hermann
