Multiple layouts with one template
I am working on a site and I want to give them the ability to adjust the layout on a per page bases without needing to create multiple templates.

here is how I am envisioning the treeview.
Home Page
Image Slider
slide 1
slide 2
3 Column
item 1
item 2
item 3
2 Column
article
article 2
Page 2
1 Column
article
Page 3
2 Column
Article 1
Article 2
1 column
Article


Is something like that even possible or do I need to do template for every possible page layout?

Hello,


If you want to move the web parts, you can use editors widgets: Using widgets. It is useful when you do not change the layout of zones but change the web parts.

Otherwise, you would need to clone the template if you want some changes like: Cloning and modifying a page template.
