i need your help, again ;)

i want to create a 'list' which should look like this:

category I....................categoryII
-related-article1.............-rel.article1
-related-article2.............-rel. article2
-.................................-.....

and so on.

i can't figure it out how to solve this straigthforward, as i don't want to create a "normal" menu with articles....
