Date: Invalid input
I want to create a new News item, but I cannot do it due to a problem with the Release Date TextBox: this field is mandatory, but it doesn't accept no value I entered. I tried:
01.01.2010 and 01.02.2010
01/01/2010 and 01/02/2010 and 02/01/2010
2010/02/01 and 2010/01/02
By pressing now, by default, it is filled with 01-Feb-10, but it doesn't work.
I also tried using the calendar popup: nothing.

Same issue for the publish from and publish to Textboxes, both for News items and for pages.

Thanks
Regards
Emanuele Firmani

RE:Date: Invalid input
Hello,

This is odd. I've tried the value "1/1/2010" and it works without problems.
Have you done any customization which could affect the validation?
Could you please post a screenshot of the error?

Best regards,
Boris Pocatko

RE:Date: Invalid input
How can i add the screenshot? There's no way to upload a file here.
I didn't do any customization. My OS language is set to Italian (Switzerland).
Still getting "Invalid input!" with every value, "1/1/2010" included.

RE:Date: Invalid input
This issue was being solved by e-mails, so just note for other visitors: The "Invalid input!" error can be caused by the entered day doesn't fit into range specified in "From" and "To" fields 'Development -> Document types -> edit your document type -> Fields -> click on date field -> Validation' section.

RE:Date: Invalid input
Hello, I've the same problem, with the same culture (Italian-Switzerland), in a normal Page (menu item) wiht PublishFrom and PublishTo textboxes.

I tried to put date in each format, but I ever get the "Invalid input" message error. Moreover I also tried with the calendar popup but never changed.

Could you help me please?
The Kentico version is 5.5.3789

Thanks in advance.

RE:Date: Invalid input
Hello,

Could you please try to apply the latest hotfix for your version (5.5). This version is quite old and it is quite possible, that this behavior was fixed in one of the hotfixes.

Best regards,
