Search result is not displaying
Hi,
I created ASPX template site. with two custom doctype and I made all columns searchable and in few pages I create page template with editable text box for title and Body content. Then I create smartsearch index for current site (index type: documents). Used that index name in webpart.

But, Always it showing no result found message.

I check with Index info:
It shows like this............
Number of indexed items: 0
Index file size: 40 B
Index status: Ready
Index is optimized: No
Last rebuild time: N/A

What is the problem, why it is not display search result.

Hello,

Could you please try to rebuilt the search index?
The "Last rebuild time:" can't be N/A if the search has to work.

Thanks for Reply! I rebuild index again
Then Index Status changed to Ready after click on Optimize the state is changed to Ready.

Now also it is showing Last Rebuild time N/A

Number of indexed items: 0
Index file size: 40 B
Index status: Ready
Index is optimized: No
Last rebuild time: N/A

Hello,

Could you please let me know what version of Kentico are you using?
There has been a bug in the 5.5R2 version, which could be causing this issue. Please apply the latest hotfix for the 5.5R2 version from the hotfix listing.

I am using 5.5.3789. Because server version we have run the same version(5.5.3789).

Hello,

It's always a good practice to keep your system up to date. So, if it is possible, please try to upgrade your live server and development server to the latest version.
Additionally you could try to rebuilt the index in a different browser. Could you please also check if there is any error logged in the Event log of your system regarding this?

No luck with different browser also. I check with Event log it show like this

So, it seems no issues with Rebuild. Just it show warring

Hello,

Could you please copy paste the detail of the event? There shouldn't be a warning regarding this in the EventLog.

Hi All,

Finlay it works for me. When check with details view of the Event log. it is asking of set culture to the index. I did that change it automatically started showing search release.
