importing of media library
I tried to import a website into another instance of cms and it worked. However, I noticed that the images/files were missing and only the structure of media libraries were imported.

Does this mean I have to re-upload all images/files to the new instance?

Appreciate your advise.

Hello.

Did you check "Export files" property in Step 2 of an Export process? This is required to export your physical files. Could you please check it and try to export it with this setting enabled? Thank you.
