When we synchronize our staging environment to our production environment, is there any way to version it on production. I have versioning setup and working fine when you make a change in production, but if you synchronize changes from staging it blows right through the versioning.

I do have versioning setup in the staging environment as well, but there is no way to tell what version to roll production back to since so many changes happen on this server.
