Sending Bulk Emails With Kentico 5.5 R2

Hi,

I am facing issue in sending bulk emails to users, as my email always recognized as spam by the mail server. As we are using Kentico 5.5 R2 for our web application, I would like to know if I could send the email notifications to user using Kentico.

1. I would like to know if there is any limit on emails allowed to send within a period in Kentico(eg. only 100 emails per hour, or 10 emails per 10 secs?)? Can I send >200 emails at 1 time using Kentico's email function? How does it works? Any settings need to be configure?

2. Is there any notification from Kentico if my email is recognized as spam in Receiver's email?

Hi Anna,

1. There is no restriction in Kentico. There is only one settings which can slower sending:

Site manager -> Settings -> E-mails -> Delay between e-mail send out (milliseconds)

It is helpful when you need to relieve the SMTP server. By the way, the SMTP server can have the described limitations.

2. There is no such tool. Version 6 - the EMS edition - can track the e-mail which were opened or a link clicked (E-mail tracking).
