Publish from doesn't work

Hi,

All of a sudden i discovered that Publish [time date] from doesn't work any more.
Only if i publish a document AND the date is in the past it gets published.
If I try to publish something in the present, time goes by but it is never published.

I wasn't aware of it, now i have it on various kentico installations.

Since publih from [date time] is such a basic feature i never tested it.
Is there a server setting that can be wrong?
Can i check / debug the scheduler that triggers the publishing?

Hi,

Could you please tell me which version (hotfix) of Kentico CMS are you using? If you are using default installation, could you please apply the latest hotfix (there was a bug and publish from setting was not applied in special cases)?

If the hotfix will not solve your problem, could you please tell how can I reproduce the issue?

I tested the behavior on default Corporate site (5.5 version - hotfix 26).

1. I set workflow on /Services document (page menuitem document type)
2. I published document
3. Set Publish from property to current time + 5 minutes, change the content of document and published it
4. The document was published in 5 minutes (as it should be)

Could you please tell me what should I change in the above scenario?

I think I figured it out.

There are no scheduled tasks for any websites any more. (!)

It seems each site must have its own scheduled task for publishing.
Called Content publishing running each minute (or set by user)
calling this class:
CMS.WorkflowEngine.ContentPublisher

I think some update cleared it all... but i can't be shure of that.
