Prompt to save changes on exit message is unclear

When you have selected the "Prompt to save changes on exit" setting, the dialog that comes up when you try to navigate away from a page you have edited says, "Click OK to leave the page without saving the changes". This is confusing my users. The text should be something like "You have modified the content. Do you wish to save?". The buttons should say "Save" and "Don't Save" with the default being save.

Hi,

you can change the warning in the /CMSResources/cms.resx file. The part which defines the message is following:

<data name="content.confirmleave" xml:space="preserve">
<value>You have modified the content. If you leave the page without saving the changes will be lost. Click OK to leave the page without saving the changes.</value>
</data>

You can change the text and save the file. To see the changes inside the CMS Desk, you need to restart the application.

Hello Mem i want to message show when i change some data in document and change the tab or page
it prompts a messagebox having "You have modified the content. If you leave the page without saving the changes will be lost. Click OK to leave the page without saving the changes." plz reply soon .........

If so, please change the setting in Site Manager -> Settings -> <site vs. global settings> -> Content -> Content management: "Prompt to save changes on exit" Best regards, Juraj Ondrus

This setting applies to all documents (jut be sure it is set on the site level settings too). then, if something was changed on the document, it will pop up, otherwise not.
