I am running into an error when I specify a new user to a "Starting alias path:"

It will work for a parent directory, but not the specific directory I would like to give them access to. All the cultures look to be correct.

The error I receive is

The document does not exist in the current culture. You can create a new culture version "of the document."

Could anyone assist me with this issue?
