not able to add new template in portal

hi
my senario is

my client wants to add multiple page,image,media and etc. and same time he is not developer so we can not setup corporate site ASPX because using that he can not design pages by choosing web part now when i m selecting corporate site the same way which i did for corporate site aspx is following to adding new control and new template i followed below steps

created one aspx page under CMSTemplates and then whenever i go for new page over there that template is avilable the same thing i m doing in portal but its not avilable
pls help me ,, i m new to kentico

Hello.

I am not sure I fully understand it. Are you using Portal engine or ASPX templates now? If ASPX templates, you can create a new page template and a new page, based on this template, according to: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/creating_a_new_aspx_page_template.htm

When using Portal engine, you can do it according to: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/creating_a_new_page_template.htm

Could you please clarify what exact problem do you have and what is your current development model? Thank you.
