controlling webpart availability
Is there a way to restrict the availability of particular web parts?

In my document I have added CMSWebPartZones where I only want particular web parts to be added. Is there some method of identifying which web parts are available for a particular web part zone?

Hi,

Regrettably, Kentico CMS currently does not provide this feature. So it is not possible to restrict the availability of web parts. I am really sorry for this inconvenience.

Hi,

We needed this feature for Widgets as well.
Using Kentico 5.5 R2.
Still no luck?

Hello,

In terms of widget, you can only define for each type of widget zone can be the widget used (group zone, editor zone, user zone). Other settings are not currently available.
